LED Therapy Services
We understand the transformative power of light, and our LED, also known as Celluma, therapy sessions are crafted to provide a non-invasive and rejuvenating experience that addresses a spectrum of wellness goals.
LED therapy, or light-emitting diode therapy, harnesses the unique properties of specific light wavelengths to stimulate cellular activity and promote various therapeutic effects. Our LED therapy services embrace the science behind different light colors, each offering distinct benefits. From the skin-revitalizing prowess of red light to the calming effects of blue light, our sessions are tailored to cater to your specific needs. Whether you’re seeking improved skin texture, accelerated muscle recovery, or a moment of serene relaxation, our LED therapy introduces you to a harmonious blend of science and rejuvenation.
The light emitted by an LED penetrates deep into the skin, stimulating cellular activity and promoting healing and rejuvenation. Depending on the color of light used, which corresponds to different wavelengths, Celluma can address a wide array of skin issues — from acne and inflammation to fine lines and wrinkles. It’s a painless and relaxing treatment that has no downtime, making it an attractive option for those seeking healthier, more vibrant skin.
We proudly offer LED therapies as part of our commitment to providing innovative and science-backed therapies to our clients. LED therapy, short for Light Emitting Diode therapy, is a skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light to target different skin issues. This non-invasive therapy, also known as Celluma, was initially created by NASA to fast-track the healing of wounds and injuries in space, but it has now become a popular skincare tool among professionals and consumers alike due to its multiple benefits.
The Celluma utilizes three primary colors of light, each possessing unique therapeutic properties:
- Blue light (wavelength ~465 nanometers) – beneficial in treating acne. It’s particularly effective at combating the bacteria that cause acne breakouts, making it a popular choice for those struggling with skin blemishes and inflammation.
- Red light (wavelength ~640 nanometers) – used to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin, promote skin health, and reduce the signs of aging. It can help to lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, resulting in a smoother complexion and a more youthful appearance. Red light can also be used to reduce inflammation and for wound healing.
- Near-infrared light (wavelength ~800-900 nanometers) – this light penetrates deeper into the body’s tissues and works at the cellular level to boost adenosine triphosphate (ATP). It’s effective for pain management, wound healing, and inflammation. This therapeutic light aids in cell repair and can speed up the healing process after an injury.
LED therapy is considered safe for most skin types and colors, and it is a non-thermal, non-ablative treatment, meaning it does not produce heat and does not damage the skin’s surface. Sessions are typically short, and the effects are cumulative, requiring multiple sessions for optimal results.
